I show a secret garden, frozen in time, hidden from everyone.
They say that this place was especially popular among local residents - flowering bushes and trees near the beautiful classicistic building of the former Batashev manor. Today it’s the hospital named after Davydovsky, and this garden surrounds the mortuary building, marking the border between the worlds of the living and the dead.
Coming to the garden, a person pauses in his daily life, plunges into the space of meditative content. That is why I chose cyanotype for the story about the garden. The main feature of this photo printing process is a pause that must be maintained while sunlight develops the image.
